DETAILS & POLICIES - 3-Week Workshop
Summer workshops are taught by our experienced staff of theater directors, music directors and choreographers, with the help of high school interns.
Open to children entering grades 3-9 in Fall 2010.
Limit: 35 participants.
All students in the workshop will be cast. Auditions will be held the first day to determine who will play which roles.
HOURS: 9:00 AM 3:00 PM Monday through Friday, 8/2-8/20. Please note that, unlike in previous years, there **will** be class on the final Friday, August 20th.
PICKUP: Parents are expected to come up to the PAC studios for pickup at 3:00 pm, and must check their child out with the staff member on attendance duty every day.
PERFORMANCES:
Oklahoma performances will be open to the public, and will be held at the Framingham State College Theater, on Friday August 20 at 7:30 pm and Saturday, August 21 at 2:00 pm. Tickets will be available in advance or at the door. Tuition includes 2 complimentary tickets to the show.
LUNCH AND SNACKS: Students bring their own lunch, water and snacks. NO PEANUTS (see below).
PEANUTS POLICY: Because we often have students who are severely allergic to peanuts, we ask that you not send any peanuts products in an effort to support those with medical needs.
BEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONS: PAC reserves the right to dismiss a student whose behavior interferes with the rights of others or the smooth functioning of the workshops. Our staff has some experience with children with special needs. Parents are encouraged to discuss any special concerns with the staff or the director prior to the first day.
REGISTRATIONS will be processed as they are received. To register online,
click here, or call the PAC office.
TUITION: $750 per student
$20 discount for siblings.
$100 non-refundable deposit due with registration form, if not paying in full.
NOTE: Annual PAC registration fee of $25 must also be current for all students (paid since 9/1/09, subject to the $50 annual per-family maximum).
PAYMENT IN FULL MUST BE RECEIVED BY JULY 1.
PAC reserves the right to modify or cancel programs as it deems necessary, for example, if insufficient enrollment is received, or it is necessary to alter the theme or show. If a program is to be cancelled, all participants will be informed by June 1, and all payments will be refunded.
