Sing, dance and act with us!! Summer at PAC includes musical theater programs for children entering grades 3-9 in the Fall of 2010.

For the first five weeks, one-week workshops offer students entering grades 3-9 the opportunity to explore highlights of shows and movies, featuring a different production each week. There will be performances on the last day of the session for family and friends.

The final three weeks are devoted to a fully-staged production for children entering grades 3-9, ending with two performances in an area theater.

Everyone gets a chance to shine in this unique and nurturing environment.

The spirit and sound of the 1950s come alive with the T-Birds, Greasers, The Pink Ladies and the rest of the gang during their senior year at Rydell High.

Week 1, June 28 - July 2: Songs and dance in the style of Glee ***SOLD OUT!!***
  **2nd Glee Week added July 26-30!!!**

Sing and dance like the characters from TVs Glee with songs from the past and present!

Week 2, July 5-9: Pocahontas
Can the brave and defiant Pocahontas teach John Smith and the rest of the Settlers to appreciate the land they are claiming and keep peace amongst them all?

Week 3, July 12-16: Shrek, The Broadway Musical
An ogre, a princess with a secret, and proof that love and self-confidence conquers all!

The beautiful Snow White must escape from the jealous queen and happens upon seven interesting characters living in the forest.

Join us for a second week of song and dance inspired by Glee, the hit TV show, featuring totally different songs and dances than we did at the Glee week earlier in the summer.

DETAILS & POLICIES - 1 Week Workshops

Summer workshops are taught by our experienced staff of theater directors, music directors and choreographers, with the help of high school interns. Each week, the directors choose four or more production numbers and scenes for the cast to explore. Students share their accomplishments with parents every Friday afternoon.

Open to children entering grades 3-9 in Fall 2010. Limit: 25 participants per week.

HOURS: 9:00 AM  4:00 PM Monday through Friday. Performance for family and friedns on Friday at approx. 3:00 pm.

PICKUP: Parents are expected to come up to the PAC studios for pickup at 4:00 pm, and must check their child out with the staff member on attendance duty every day.

LUNCH AND SNACKS: Students bring their own lunch, water and snacks. NO PEANUTS (see below).

PEANUTS POLICY: Because we often have students who are severely allergic to peanuts, we ask that you not send any peanuts products in an effort to support those with medical needs.

BEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONS: PAC reserves the right to dismiss a student whose behavior interferes with the rights of others or the smooth functioning of the workshops. Our staff has some experience with children with special needs. Parents are encouraged to discuss any special concerns with the staff or the director prior to the first day.

REGISTRATIONS will be processed as they are received. To register online - click here , or call the PAC office.

TUITION: $325 per week per student

$10 discount for additional weeks for the same student
$10 discount for siblings attending the same week.
$50 non-refundable deposit due with registration form, if not paying in full.

NOTE: Annual PAC registration fee of $25 must also be current for all students (paid since 9/1/09, subject to the $50 annual per-family maximum).

PAYMENT IN FULL FOR ALL WEEKS MUST BE RECEIVED BY JUNE 1.

PAC reserves the right to modify or cancel programs as it deems necessary, for example, if insufficient enrollment is received, or it is necessary to alter the theme or show. If a program is to be cancelled, all participants will be informed by June 1, and all payments will be refunded.

DETAILS & POLICIES - 3-Week Workshop

Summer workshops are taught by our experienced staff of theater directors, music directors and choreographers, with the help of high school interns.

Open to children entering grades 3-9 in Fall 2010. Limit: 35 participants.

All students in the workshop will be cast. Auditions will be held the first day to determine who will play which roles.

HOURS: 9:00 AM  3:00 PM Monday through Friday, 8/2-8/20. Please note that, unlike in previous years, there **will** be class on the final Friday, August 20th.

PICKUP: Parents are expected to come up to the PAC studios for pickup at 3:00 pm, and must check their child out with the staff member on attendance duty every day.

PERFORMANCES: Oklahoma performances will be open to the public, and will be held at the Framingham State College Theater, on Friday August 20 at 7:30 pm and Saturday, August 21 at 2:00 pm. Tickets will be available in advance or at the door. Tuition includes 2 complimentary tickets to the show.
