| Philosophy: | My goal in teaching is to guide and nurture the students discovery and exploration on the violin. At every age and level, I will encourage the unique voice of each student, working to develop the necessary physical, listening and creative thinking skills for beautiful self-expression. I want to empower my students with the confidence to know what they want to say through music (musicality) as well as the knowledge of how to make their voice come alive through their instrument (musicianship). I cherish the opportunity to work together with my students through dedication, patience and a joy over mastering each small step, which can only lead to confident music-making and a life-long joy of playing. |
